About Me

Hey, I’m Anas Roud. I’m a senior software engineer with around 4 years of experience. I mainly focus on frontend but I’m fullstack when needed. I work best with React, TypeScript, and Next.js, and I care a lot about clean code, smooth UI, and performance that actually matters.

I’ve worked on high-traffic projects like Forbes’ Billionaires and 30 Under 30, where I built advanced UI components, handled server-side rendering, and made sure everything felt seamless. I don’t just throw components together. I think about the structure, how it scales, and how easy it’ll be to work with months later.

Styling-wise, I’m big on custom CSS and Tailwind. I use shadcn components to move fast, but the logic, animations, transitions, and interactivity is all mine. I’ve also built out backend features using Node.js and Express, and worked with databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL when needed.

On the cloud side, I’ve deployed and maintained projects using AWS and GCP. I’ve set up EC2s, S3 buckets, RDS, VPCs, and Lambda functions, and configured tracking and infrastructure using Google Tag Manager and GCP’s tooling.

Outside of code, I read a lot, meditate every day, and I’m writing a novel on the side. I took a short break from full-time work to focus on personal projects and reset a bit. Now I’m ready to jump back in and bring that energy into something meaningful.
